At 8:00 pm, everyone is invited to the Rec Hall for a \nprogram on what to look for, pitfalls and perils, and the low-down on \npurchasing a telescope. And of course, if the weather is clear, we will \nhave quite a number of telescopes for you to look at, look through, and \nask questions about.\nThe star party starts at 7:00 pm and should last until 11:30 or so \n(we'll stay as long as people want to look into our telescopes or the \nRangers kick us out ;) - weather permitting. \nWatch Facebook for updates the day of the Party.\nThis event is FREE and everyone is welcome! You do not need to bring a\n telescope (we will provide them), but if you want to bring your own or \nneed help figuring out how to use yours, by all means bring it!\nDirections\nFrom TN HWY 153, take TN HWY 58 North towards Decatur, TN. Travel 8.3\n miles to Harrison Bay Road; turn left. There is a pretty big sign for \nthe park. On Harrison Bay Road, travel approximately 1.5 miles to the \nmain park entrance on the left - turn left. Stay to the right at the \nfork in the road and continue about 0.5 miles. Parking will be available\n around the Recreation Hall.\nThe observation field will be in the large parking area next to the Recreation Hall.
