Harrison Bay September Star Party

Saturday, 14 September 2019 20:30 – 23:00
Location: Harrison Bay State Park, Harrison Bay Road 8411, Harrison, Tennessee
Category: Star Party

Come join the BAS for the August Harrison Bay Star

(We meet in the large parking lot near the rec center)

We will have a variety of telescopes set up for your viewing pleasure.

The star party starts at sunset and should last until 10:30 or so (we'll stay as long as people want to look into our telescopes or the Rangers kick us out ;) .

This event is FREE and everyone is welcome! You do not need to bring a telescope (we will provide them), but if you want to bring your own or need help figuring out how to use yours, by all means bring it!

From TN HWY 153, take TN HWY 58 North towards Decatur, TN. Travel 8.3 miles to Harrison Bay Road; turn left. There is a pretty big sign for the park. On Harrison Bay Road, travel approximately 1.5 miles to the main park entrance on the left - turn left. Stay to the right at the fork in the road and continue about 0.5 miles. Parking will be available around the Recreation Hall.

The observation field will be in the large parking area next to the Recreation Hall. Come and enjoy the sky!
