Please join us at the Rec Hall parking area for an evening of astronomical observations with visual telescopes, Electronically-Assisted scopes and monitors, and just looking up with our eyes!

Basic information for the April 13, 2024 Harrison Bay Star Party:

• Sunset: 8:12 pm
• Moon: 23% waxing crescent. Be cool to look at!
• BAS Set-Up: 6:30-7:30 pm
• Guest Arrival: 7:30 pm
• Deep Sky: Heading into Galaxy Season. Plenty of open clusters and other spring goodies!
• Planets: Jupiter will be the best planet for now, but we will be losing it all too soon. Maybe Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks?
• The nature of these events means they are weather-dependent. Updates posted between 1:00 and 2:00 pm.
