UPDATE 8/10/24 10:30 am: OK folks – we are looking at a gorgeous evening for tonight’s Star Party at Harrison Bay! If you haven’t seen the Moon through a telescope, prepare to be awestruck! Lots of summer goodies to choose from tonight, Perseid meteors should be putting in an appearance, and Saturn will be crashing the party around 10:30 pm!
Please join us at the Rec Hall parking area for an evening of astronomical observations with visual telescopes, Electronically-Assisted scopes and monitors, and just looking up with our eyes!
Family-friendly, accessible, and guaranteed awesome! You do not need to bring a telescope – the BAS has all the gear!

- Set-Up: 7:00-8:00 pm
- Guest Arrival: 8:00 pm
- Deep Sky: Lots of summer targets. The Moon should be a great target!
