UPDATE 8/12/23 5:15 pm: OK folks, we had some storms come through the area this afternoon, but it looks like it should be clearing out in time for tonight’s star party, so we are forging ahead!

UPDATE 8/12/23 1:30 pm: Folks, this is another tricky one. Severe storm watch until 7:00 pm, but our oracles are indicating maybe clearing after that? Right now, we are going to say that we will be back with another update around 5:00 pm or so with a more definitive word. Hang tight!

Come join the BAS for our monthly Star Party at Harrison Bay State Park this Saturday, August 12. We will be setting up in the Recreation Hall parking lot. We will have a variety of telescopes and observing opportunities.
